Are you living Off-Campus for the first time or renting for the first time in Ontario? Join us for a student-focused presentation on tenant rights and some things to think about as you get ready to move into your new place. Learn the basics of Ontario’s Residential Tenancies Act, your rights, and responsibilities as a tenant, how to handle issues with landlords and housemates, and general Off-Campus information. This session will help you protect yourself and make informed decisions as a renter in Ontario.

As you prepare to take part in the rich and diverse experiences that Canada has to offer, it is important that you are aware of the human rights, freedoms and protections that apply to you under Canadian law.
