Students in the World Link program regularly host in-person social activities and events designed to help you connect with others, make new friends, and feel at home at Queen’s. These events are a great way to meet fellow students from around the world, explore shared interests, and build a supportive and inclusive community on campus. Whether you’re looking for casual hangouts or lively group activities, there’s something for everyone.
Some of our favourite events include speed friending, where you can meet lots of new people in a short amount of time; trivia nights that spark friendly competition and laughter; and guided local day trips that let you discover Kingston’s hidden gems. We also organize downtown and campus walks to help you get familiar with your surroundings, as well as seasonal celebrations that highlight holidays and traditions from around the globe.
