International Student Immigration Plan

The International Student Immigration Plan is a personalized planning tool to support international students throughout their journey at Queen’s University.

Developed with International Student Advisors and campus partners, the plan helps students connect their academic goals, career development, and immigration responsibilities into one coordinated pathway. Through structured yearly milestones, students are supported in building confidence, maintaining immigration compliance, accessing campus resources, and preparing for post-graduation opportunities in Canada.

The plan is intended to encourage proactive planning, informed decision-making, and long-term student success from arrival through graduation.

Undergraduate Students

The Undergraduate Plan helps international undergraduate students navigate key transition points from arrival through graduation. Through a structured four-year framework, students are guided in building strong academic foundations, exploring career opportunities, maintaining immigration compliance, and preparing for post-graduation pathways such as the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
