Welcome Week Information
The QUIC International Student Welcome Week from August 31st - September 4th - Incoming International and Exchange Students are invited to join information sessions, social events, walks, tours and more.
The Week brings you lots of useful information and fun social activities. You will have the opportunity to get to know campus and your peers. Come hear from advisors and service providers on topics that were carefully prepared for you.
Welcome Week is free and scheduled to precede university and faculty orientation programs at Queen's.
Registration is required for information sessions which opens August 5th. Registration for tours, socials and the bus trips open August 21st - check back soon on the website, social media or QUIC newsletter.

The QUIC will host Service Ontario to issue Social Insurance Numbers (SIN) to international students. Original documents and passport are required by Service Canada so that you may obtain the SIN.

Transition to Success: Online Orientation for International Students
Transition to Success: Online Orientation for International Students with the QUIC runs each year to support incoming international students and provide them with essential resources and introduction to the university. The program starts with online pre-arrival sessions with advisors in MAY.

Winter Welcome Days
QUIC Winter Welcome Days are orientation events for new international students at Queen's University, held at the start of the January term. These welcome days feature information sessions on topics like Canadian classrooms and health insurance, social events to meet other students, and campus tours to help new arrivals settle into their new environment in Kingston.
