Welcome Week
August 29 – September 2, 2022 is a 5-day Welcome Week of in-person activities for students who arrive to Kingston prior to the start of classes, and prior to University Orientation. Come to the QUIC for Orientation workshops, tours, and social activities; pick up your Welcome Package.
Registration is required – the registration is now full.
During the Welcome Week the Centre is open 8:30 am – 6:30 pm, Mon. – Fri.
After the Welcome Week, the Centre will be open with extended hours 10 am – 2 pm during the Labour Day weekend to ease student arrival between Saturday, Sept. 3 – Monday, Sept. 5. Staffed by students, during this time the Centre will offer free coffee and a quiet space to relax, go online and meet with others. Our student staff will welcome you.

UHIP Health Insurance Workshop. Watch the UHIP videos first please, then come to this workshop to ask your questions. The QUIC administrator and advisor will spend time to go over essential information about how and where to find health care, the cost, documentation, and more.

Bus Trip to Fort Henry! Once you have received your ticket, meet up at the International Centre
and come to this famous historic site with us on a bus. Free. Register in time as we will sell out!

Campus Security. What does Campus Security do to help keep you safe while on Campus? What can you do to stay safe on Campus and in Kingston? Come and learn more about Campus Security and get a few tips for living safely in Kingston.
