Student Academic Success Services (SASS) offers telephone appointments to distance students. SASS helps students at all levels of academic success improve their writing and academic skills and confidence. Students can get help with a range of topics, such as managing time, handling multiple academic demands, reading efficiently, writing clearly and concisely, developing strong arguments in writing assignments, increasing motivation, studying for exams, and practicing English as an Additional Language. SASS offers a number of programs and resources to help multilingual students be successful at university. At both the undergraduate and graduate levels, we can help to further develop your language skills, improve communication, and build your confidence. If you are looking for English Conversation Practice in a social environment, in addition to the SASS services, the International Centre offers the weekly English Conversation Group on Thursdays, 5:30 – 7 pm (starts on Sept. 20).
