To support Queen's program participants in their preparations for study/work/travel abroad, the Queen’s University International Centre (QUIC) facilitates the Emergency Support Program (ESP) for Study/Work/Travel Abroad. All undergraduate students participating in Queen’s University sanctioned international activities are required to register in the ESP. All other participants are encouraged, and in some cases required, to do so. PLEASE NOTE - we are in the process of moving to a new on-line system. If you are going abroad for the spring or summer of 2012 you are asked to complete the on-line enrolment form and participate in a pre-departure orientation session. The information provided in the pre-departure orientation sessions is intended to assist with preparations for your upcoming international experience. These sessions also provide resources which will be of assistance to those completing the risk assessment section of the Off-Campus Activity Safety Policy Form 1. If you are going abroad for the fall or fall/winter terms of 2012/13 please email QUESP@queensu.ca to access the new Off-Campus Activity Safety Policy on-line planning tool. |
