International Education Week Spotlight

Universities and colleges across North America and beyond are highlighting their international education events each year to share awareness during the International Education Week.  Here is a spotlight on the activities taking place for the #IEW2017 between November 13 and 17, 2017:

Monday, Nov. 13

International Exchange Fair

5:00 – 7:00 pm, JDUC Wallace Hall

Annual Fair organized by Queen’s International Programs Office with the Faculty of Arts and Science and Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science.
Students who are interested in Study Abroad are invited to:

  • collect informative handouts from partner universities
  • speak with staff about application and program requirements
  • meet students who have studied on exchange at partner universities or who are currently on exchange at Queen’s from a partner university

Monday, Nov. 13

LLCU International Film Night

7:00 – 8:30 pm, Dunning Hall 11

Organized by the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures.

British historian B. Hughes presents: When the Moors Ruled in Europe.

Tuesday, Nov. 14

LLCU International Film Night

5:00 – 6:30 pm, Watson Hall 217

Organized by the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures.

Wednesday, Nov. 15

International Potluck with World Link

6:00 – 8:00 pm, JDUC – Queen’s University International Centre QUIC

Organized by QUIC World Link Program. Bring a dish from your country to share with new friends and try food from all over the world.

Thursday, Nov. 16

LLCU International Film Night

7:00 – 8:30 pm, Dunning Hall 27

Organized by the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures.

Friday, Nov. 17

QUIC International Photo Contest Launch
1 pm, QUIC hall

Watch QUIC social media.  Deadline to submit student photos for the early bird: Wednesday, November 22, 2017
