Extended hours of operation from August 28 to September 8, 2013
Weekdays: 8:30 am to 9:00 pm; Weekends (and Labour Day, September 2): 1:00 to 9:00 pm.
Staffed by students after 4:30 on weekdays and throughout the weekends, the Centre is available during these times as a place to relax, meet new friends, access e-mail, watch videos in the Centre’s Lounge, and you are welcome to use our kitchen to prepare evening meals together.
During this period, services include: QUIC/Queen's/Kingston/Canada Information and Housing Information. UHIP Enrolment is only available during our regular business hours (8:30am to 4:30pm - Monday to Friday).
QUIC will connect those who choose to arrive early with social and recreational opportunities in the Kingston and Queen's Communities.

These tours will focus on the range of services and supports available to students at Queen's. Tours will be led by student volunteers.

Introduction to Indigenous Culture and Welcome to the Territory
Queen's University sits on the traditional lands of the Haudenosaunee & Anishinaabe peoples, two of Canada's First Nations. Participate in this short introduction and welcome hosted by our partners from the Four Directions Aboriginal Student Centre here at Queen's. Space is limited.
Thursday, August 29
Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC) Introduction and Tour
Meet at the Centre before heading over to the ARC for a guided tour of the facilities provided by our partners in Queen's Athletics.
Meet at the Centre to choose one activity (athletic or otherwise). From there, participants remain in the Centre for board games or head to City Park for soccer (football) or ultimate (frisbee).
Friday, August 30
Come by the Centre for a relaxing evening of movie watching. Popcorn and lemonade will be available.
Saturday, August 31
Trip to Toronto for Baseball Game

There will also be time following the game for students to explore downtown Toronto on their own. Other sites of interest include (but are not limited to) the CN Tower, St. Lawrence Market, Eaton Centre and the Harbourfront Centre. Tickets will be available for sale at QUIC's front desk for $60 (cash only).
